As a national non-profit organization, Ascend has been dedicated to uniting and equipping the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) field to empower youth to make healthy choices about relationships, sex and marriage. We are interested in proposals that bring practical skills, relevant research, and best practices that will not only expand the knowledge base of effective strategies but will inspire new ideas for youth empowerment through the SRAE approach. Capturing the theme of the conference, Agents of Change: The Mission. The Message. The Momentum., will be a helpful guide in creating a meaningful presentation.

Breakout sessions will be 50 minutes plus 10 minutes at the end for Q&A.

Sessions are not to be used for the promotion of products or sales. Vendor booths are available for the marketing of materials.

Ascend is not a religious or organization. While faith-based organizations are certainly welcomed to present, we ask that religious content is not presented.

Ascend is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse any political party. A discussion of public policy, as it impacts SRAE, however, can be relevant and appropriate.

Due to space and time considerations, the number of proposals we can accept is limited. Proposals are due by Feb.3, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent by Feb. 7, 2025.
