If sex education is provided, it must:

• Stress that sexual abstinence until marriage is:
• The expected standard for school-aged children
• The only certain way to prevent pregnancy, STIs, and other health problems

HIV/AIDS education must:

• Stress the moral aspects of sexual abstinence
• State that the best way to avoid AIDS is by sexual abstinence until marriage
• Include information on the importance of sex only within marriage

 Parents may opt out of HIV/AIDS education.
