If sex education is provided, it must:

• Include information on:
  • Pregnancy prevention
  • STIs, including HIV/AIDS
  • Avoiding coercion
  • Be medically accurate

Content is guided by the Wyoming Content and Performance Standards, which defines sexuality as the sum of physical, functional, and psychological attributes that are expressed by one’s gender identity and sexual behavior.

 Wyoming law does not specify any requirements for parental permission.
